Feeling curious or looking for interesting facts?
Here you will find answers to all sorts of possible questions!

Are food allergies taken into account?

Absolutely! Our kitchen team is highly experienced in dealing with allergies such as gluten, lactose, nuts, and more. Make sure to communicate allergies via the check form no later than 4 weeks before arrival.

What's in store for us in terms of meals?

For more info on the meals, please visit the ‘Our Kitchen’ page.

What is our first meal?

In full board, the first meal you receive is the (hot) evening meal, followed by breakfast and lunch each night (unless otherwise stated on the accommodation contract).

Do you offer a 4pm snack?

Optionally, a 4pm snack is available (for a fee), with the first 4pm snack provided as standard on the day of arrival. This option includes 1 biscuit and 1 juice per person per night.

Do you cater for specific dietary requirements or meal regimes?

Yes, in addition to regular dishes, we also offer halal, vegetarian and vegan options. Please indicate your preference via the check sheet no later than 4 weeks before arrival.

What time do we eat?

During your stay, we operate fixed meal times for the whole week. These are determined by the kitchen team. Breakfast will be scheduled at a fixed time between 7.45am and 8.45am, and dinner between 5.45pm and 6.45pm. If you have specific preferences (based on your weekly schedule), please let us know as early as possible. We will do our best to accommodate them, if possible.

Should we clean our dining hall?

Each group is assigned a permanent dining hall. The group is responsible for the cleanliness of their dining hall. We recommend working with table and refectory managers within the group. So that the tables can be cleaned and the floor swept every day.

Should we wash dishes ourselves?

In full board, you do not have to wash dishes. However, we do ask you to clear the tables correctly and place the crockery on the appropriate clearing trolley. You also leave the dining hall tidy by cleaning the tables and sweeping the floor.
